Differences between Have and Has


Let's talk about some crucial differences between have and has:

Has:

     This is something, which many people do not know and keep on making mistakes while speaking, also while writing professional mails.
 
     Has can be used only for 3rd person singulars(fi: he/she/it).

Ex: He has some information with him.

There is a dog and it has a bone in its mouth.

 How can we make a question, when a sentence contains "has"?


Ans: When a sentence contains has in it, then does comes into picture in order to make a question.

Ex: she has a paper in her hands.
       ( What does she have in her hands? )


Have:

     It can be used for all persons (both singular and plural ) except third person singular.

Ex: I have a pen.
      They have a match now.

How can we make a question, when a sentence contains "have"?

Ans: When a sentence contains have in it, then do comes into picture in order to make a question.

Ex: They have a match now.
       ( Do they have a match now? )
