From this blog, I will start discussing about tenses and their formulas.....
As we already discussed in the previous blog, we know that there are 3 tenses in English, they are Present, Past and Future.
Each tense is classified into 4 different sub tenses based on the timing of an action.
1. Present Tense:
a) Simple Present
b) Present Continuous
c) Present Perfect
d) Present Perfect Continuous
a) Simple Present Tense:
This tense is used for hobbies, universal truths, facts and things that happen on a daily basis.
Formula:
sub + v1 + object
*Hobbies: Everyone has their own hobbies(activity that people do regularly). A hobby can not be a past and future, so it is always said to be in Simple Present tense.
Ex: I play Cricket. (I=subject; play=verb1; object=Cricket)
She plays Chess. (She=subject; plays=verb1; object=Chess)
*Universal Truths: Universal truths can not be decided by humans. They are neither past things nor future things, they always exist in the world. For these kind of universal truths we use simple present tense.
Ex: Sun rises in the East. (Sun=subject; rises=verb1; the East=Object)
Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius.
The Earth goes around the Sun.
*Facts: Facts are also similar to universal truths. Facts can not be changed.
Ex: Man marries to a woman. (Man=subject; marries=verb1; woman=object)
Hyderabad is the capital city of Telangana.
The tiger doesn't fly.
*General things that happen daily: People do many things on a daily basis, these can be said using simple preset tense.
Ex: I go to market daily. (I=subject; go=verb1; market=object)
She feeds her son.
Players practice daily.
Note: Verb forms can be learnt by self.
Few verb forms are:

do did done doing
go went gone going
sleep slept slept sleeping
write wrote written writing
sit sat sat sitting
marry married married marrying
sing sang sung singing
